Pictures of People will be posted around the classroom. Students Working in groups of two, will walk around and look at all the pictures and choose two of the people and write an in-depth character analysis. (Following outline) One page for each character. This should provide background information. Tuesday: J/Hand back worksheets for those who did not pass Crime scene displayed on overhead. Students to take Notes about what they see. In groups they will Write up an official “report” of the crime scene. (Formal, objective writing style to be used). (One of the characters which were displayed yesterDay will be the victim of today’s crime.) Wednesday: Thursday: J/Hand out two clues to each group. Students should Read the clues and begin to write a speculative Report about what they think has happened. This Will be the beginning of a collaborative short Story. J/vocab quiz #28 Forensic evidence is shared with the group, along With eyewitness interviews. Groups will write a Final report providing their guess as to who com- Mitted the crime, how, and why. Final report Will be at least two – four pages long. AP/Honors 9/10 Monday: Journal corrections Vocab pretest #28 Continue in-class reading of “Antigone,” by Sophocles, P.291-304. Assign: Responding to Literature, #1-10; Analyzing Lit, #1-3; Critical Thinking #1-2.
