Online Practice Exams
Operating Engineers Local 3 Joint Apprenticeship Committee requires assessment testing of all
apprenticeship candidates. You must pass minimum standards deemed by the Department of
Labor as necessary for success in a given occupation. Once you have applied for entrance into an
Operating Engineers Apprenticeship program, you will be notified for assessment testing. These tests
are administered on a computer, and if you fail you will be given another opportunity to test.
However, if you pass you will not be given another opportunity to increase your score. Candidates
with the highest scores are admitted into the program first. So if you’re serious about a career with
the Operating Engineers, make your testing opportunity count! Study and Practice!
