Presentation
This presentation is about the work of the Valencia Peace Paul Chapman
and Justice Institute in Haiti. For the last two summers
(2014 & 2015), Valencia Faculty and community members
have partnered with St. Margaret Mary Church in Winter
Park in order to run a peace education conference in
Jacmel, Haiti. The participants are teachers, administrators
and people who work in the various Catholic chapels from
many regions of Haiti. Learn about the work of peace and
how it is building a relationship between Valencia College
and the people of Haiti.

The Wellness Ambassador team invites students to take
part in a pre-Thanksgiving reflection activity on gratitude,
careers, and networking while they also enjoy Multicultural
Thanksgiving and the International Resource Fair.
Please join us for one of Winter Park Campus’ oldest and Student Development
most iconic events of the year! For the past 15 years, we
have celebrated Thanksgiving by enjoying delicious
multicultural dishes made by our students, staff and faculty
members! This year we continue that tradition and help the
homeless/hungry at the same time.
There are several ways to participate in this special feast:
1). Sign up at the Information Station to bring a dish from
your culture!! We need your contributions to make this a
success!

2). Make a cash donation of $3.00 or more
or
3). Bring two, or more, non-perishable items for Pooky’s
Pantry
and
4). Bring your Valencia ID and an appetite!
Your Student Development Office will provide the meat
for this event. You provide the appetizers, side dishes,
