Dear Student, We are please to update you on with some important information that is vital for your forth coming Dec 2013 examinations. Learners who are currently enrolled with us (after having paid their fee dues under all applicable semester or have taken up admissions in various semesters/program will be eligible to appear in this Dec 2013 ETEs. Please go through the Instructions in detail and let us know in case you need any further clarifications. Pre Examination Assignment submission Assignment Download As soon as the student pays for the semester fees, he or she gets the course access for the applicable semester. With the semester access the student can have study material, archive sessions access and assignment download. So the student will be able to download the assignment to work upon, right from the start from their session. Assignment Upload - Download the Assignment from Course access Write the answers in Word doc Save the doc either in word doc (except office 2007 or higher) form or pdf form. Final file has to be re-named as the student name_ course code. For example, john_adl01 File Size should not exceed 2MB. Final File has to be uploaded under Assignment_upload_or_evaluation head After uploading your assignment you will get an email confirming same, but this will be just a confirmation of uploading a file and not the confirmation of required contents therein. You can upload your assignments till 30th Nov 2013. Under the Link (Marks / Upload Assignment for DEC 2013 Evaluation) which would get activated from 1st Nov 2013. Assignment submitted in any other form will not be considered for evaluation. NO HARD COPIES TO BE SENT TO THE UNIVERSITY. NO PARTIAL SUBMISSION OF ASSIGNMNETS IS ALLOWED. NO COPING IS PERMITTED. Assignment Evaluation After the assignments are get uploaded, the faculty members will evaluate your assignment according to the norms of the University. These assignments forms a part of your Continuous Evaluation & constitutes 30%. As soon as the assignments will get evaluated, and appear in your respective subject login, so kindly refer to your respective logins and check them after your ETEs. End term exam will be of 70 marks and the results / scores of which normally are displayed immediately after exam/paper submission. Passing Percentage Criteria The evaluation comprises of two sections internal assessment as ASSIGNMENTS (having three sections A, B &C) which constitutes 30% of the marks and ETEs constitutes 70% marks. Minimum passing marks in both the assessments will be 35% individually and 40% in aggregate. Please Note: 1. As per latest University regulations, it is now compulsory to submit all assignments of the semester papers you desire to appear. 2. In case of non-submission, you will not be provided with your marks scored and subsequently no results will be officially declared, till you submit your required/due assignments. 3. Any Assignment submitted after the due date will automatically go to the subsequent evaluation cycle as per university norms and no expeditious steps will be taken to evaluate them. 4. You Nov also submit your previously pending assignment during the assignment Upload time. Exam registrations Every student is liable to appear for end term examination scheduled in Dec 2013 to complete their semester. Online registration form is available on www.amityonline.com under END TERM EXAM ACCESS. Examination registration will start from 15th Nov 2013 till 19th Dec 2013. Examination registration form: Important fields for filling up the form are: Father name: if the field is blank the student will enter his or her father’s name. This will allow the University to cross check with the database to approve the admit card. Enrollment No. : If the field is blank the student will enter his or her enrollment no. This will allow the University to cross check with the database to approve the admit card. If a student does not have their enrollment no. yet, they can fill registration no. Photograph: The student has to have a scan copy of their photograph at the time of registration. Subjects: The student has to choose the subjects for which he or she has to appear. End term examination center: here the student will choose where he or she intends to appear for the exam. Complete details like address and contact info is required for the place. Students appearing in different semester subjects are required to generate and print separate e-Admit Cards having separate access keys for accessing different subject exams. After filing the required information, please click on submit and a pop up should open with a message, which would clearly says that the student has to wait for at least 24 hrs for approval of the admit card. The university will take minimum of 24 hours to maximum 48 hours to approve the admit card. As soon as the admit card is approved, the student will get email for the link to download the admit card, confirming the card generation and will carry your exam Access keys. These access keys will also get printed on your e-admit card. If a student does not receive the email, he or she is advised to go back on the registration form and choose the semester for the link to download the registration admit card. Exam Centers A student has two choices of appearing for the examination. If a student is in INDIA, he or she can appear either from a Reliance Cyber Café, a list is available in the Login and annexure. Candidate/ Examinee need to select a Centre as desired by him/her. He / She must visit the Reliance Centre and are advised to, make your bookings in advance for the Applicable dates and time of your Dec 2013 Examinations. You Nov be required to pay the applicable booking charges. Second and most preferred option is your OFFICE PREMISES under supervision from your HR/reporting Head within the office. Students wish to take ETEs from their respective offices need to provide us with the names, email IDs and consent of their respective supervisors from the office as HR personnel/ immediate head with their consent email through eMail at examinations@amityonline.com. This must reach to us latest by 25 thNov 2013, to whom we shall then issue a request cum instructional mail to be strictly followed by them through email. For the café option, please carry your admit card print out and a govt. issued photo ID. The cost be using such centre will be perhaps equivalent to the cost of any cybercafé and need to be borne by the student in its enterity. Please ensure about, before finalizing, that the decided centre is having all foolproof resources in terms of availability, system and power backup etc If a student is outside India, he or she can appear for the examination from either from Office/ Home/ reputed Cybercafe' which ever mode is convenient and available in your city. Foreign based students in case taking their exams from their office, also need to forward us the name and email ID of the Officer who can supervise your exams through email at examinations@amityonline.com The student has to check for the electricity back up and net connection before choosing the examination center. The University will not be responsible for such failures. For students appearing for more than one paper Students who are taking two semesters together or reappearing for exams or taking under deferred mode will need to pay the reappearing Fee of INR 1000/- per Subject. Student can pay the re-appear fee either through ONLINE OR OFFLINE MODE. 1. In online mode of payment, a student can log on www.amityonline.com with the login details already provided and click on fee information. There is a tab named as other fee info and fill up a form for reappear exam. The student will enter his or her credit card details and will instantly get a payment confirmation on his or her email, with a copy to us. 2. Under offline mode of payment, a student has to write an email or a letter to Director, AUO for the request to appear for the respective subjects and accompany with a demand draft of INR 1000 per subject in the name of Amity Center for eLearning, payable at NOIDA. Students appearing in different semester subjects are required to generate and print separate e-Admit Cards having separate access keys for accessing different subject exams. A detail note on the pre & post examination instructions is available on your website. Exam Date sheet Examination Dates- 11th Dec 2013- 19th Dec 2013 Time Slots (as per Indian Standard Time I.S.T). There will be four time slots each of two hours in each day 1100hrs-1300hrs 1330hrs-1530hrs 1600hrs-1800hrs 1830hrs-2030hrs Time Slots would be given in the e-admit card. These timings would be as per the Indian Standard Time (I.S .T). Students need to choose their time slots to appear in the examination and need to choose only one slot for one paper. In case the student has to reappear in any back log also then he/she need to choose two slots; one slot for the current semester paper and other slot for the backlog paper, both time slots needs to be different if such papers are on same day/ date. Please see:- Time slot once chosen will not get changed. It would be filled on first come first basis. So before registering for the examination, please make ensure your availability to appear for the examination in particular time slot. Students appearing for any backlog need to pay the reappear fee of INR 1,000/-. During Examination Please carry your admit card printout and a govt. issued photo ID. to the examination center (Cyber Café/ Office). Admit card will have an access key, which you will input after logging on www.amityonline.com under END Term Exam access. Your end term examination link will be activated from 11th Dec 2013 and will remain active till 19th Dec 2013. A student will enter the access keys only 5 minutes before the scheduled examination and the student will automatically get the only subject scheduled for him or her to enter the test. Please use internet explorer version 8 for the examination for best experience. The examination will be in a pattern of multiple choices questions, for which he or she will get total of 120 minutes. If during the examination, the computer system shuts down for any reason, the student can again resume the exam from the same machine or any other machine. The exam will have different sections, which is completely movable. That means you can easily go through different sections and come back to any previously attended section. After completing the examination, the student has to click on submit button and the scores will be made available then and there only. (Provided you have submitted the assignments for the same subject) Post Examination After each examination, the student has to get his or her admit card signed by the supervisor. Annexure-I has to be signed by the student once, before the first exam starts. Annexure-II has to be signed by the supervisor once, before the first exam starts. After the Examinations, both the annexure and the admit card then has to be sent by the student, either through courier or eMail to Amity center for eLearning. Please be informed that your subsequent semester fees will be due soon after your Dec 2013 ETEs and need to pay them on or before 15th Jan 2014 to avoid any late payment charges.
