At Village, we are committed to making God’s Word the foundation of our
lives. Please join us as we read through the Bible in 2 years. We encourage
you to use REAP each day and see what God does in your life!
REAP
(R)ead:
Read the passages with an open heart looking for God to impact
your life. Write down observations and points that stand out to you.
(E)xamine: Examine the observations deeper to make sure you know what
they mean (interpretation).
Read your study Bible notes or a
commentary.
(A)pply: How will you be different because of what you have just read?
(P)ray:
Pray that God will help you apply His Word to your walk.
Helpful Hints:
 Set a time each day to read.
 Remember that this is not a checklist, but a letter from the God of the
universe. Enjoy it!
 If you get behind, catch up when you can, but keep reading. Don’t Give
Up!
 If you have a heavy week coming up, read ahead.
 Find someone in your family or a friend to talk about your progress and
share things God has taught you.
 Share things that God teaches you as you read with the elders. This
