The Community Dental Clinic is a program of the Ada Jenkins Center. The mobile
clinic provides dental care to low income residents of Huntersville, Cornelius,
Davidson & South Iredell who do not have dental insurance or Medicaid. Volunteer
dental professionals are used to provide services to patients. The mobile facility can
also be leased to groups in the surrounding region so they can coordinate their own
dental clinic using our facility & knowledge.

Barium Springs Home for Children is a full service child welfare agency that serves
abused and neglected children, families living in crisis, at risk preschool-age
children, students not excelling in traditional classrooms, children or adults needing
counseling and foster parents needing coaching and support. Barium Springs
provides a safe and nurturing family life through group homes and foster care. It
focuses on hope and healing for local families through clinical and community-based
services. Providing better choices for a bright future, Barium Springs provides

Homebuyer Education and Financial Literacy program educates, counsels, and

Education Workshops, personalized budget and credit counseling, and posthomeownership programming. Any person, regardless of an interest in purchasing

We are a child abuse prevention center providing weekly in-home parent aid
services to families identified as at-risk for abuse and neglect. We also provide
parenting classes, supervised visitation for court-ordered families via domestic
violence court. We provide workshops on identifying abuse and neglect, reporting,
etc. We also provide workshops on parenting/discipline issues. Our services are
open to anyone having questions about children, behaviour, discipline, etc. We

Loaves & Fishes at the Ada Jenkins Center provides groceries for individuals and
families in crisis. All clients must have a referral from a social services agency,
healthcare provider if there is a medical condition or a pastor from a church
preferably one they are a member of.
At the present time clients can receive a referral once every 30 days. This could
change in the future to once every 60 days.

Lydia's Loft is a Clothing Closet located in Huntersville. The loft provides free
clothing and household items to needy residents of Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson
and Mooresville. The organization is staffed by volunteers and funded by
individuals, community, faith and civic groups and local corporations. Clothing
donations are accepted during operating hours listed above. Those in need of
clothing must go to the Ada Jenkins Center or Solomon House and obtain a
shopping ticket prior to receiving clothing at Lydia's Loft.

Stewards of the Game is a faith based youth sports league that serves N.
Mecklenburg children ages 5-18. We are a 501c-3 non-profit that operates purely
through volunteers. We offer league and challenge baseball in the fall and spring as
well as basketball in the winter with a week camp in the summer. Our philosophy is
to teach life lessons through sports which we do through team devotionals and
