Crochet Knockers Pattern

Crocheted Knockers
Materials Needed:
1 skein of DK weight yarn that is soft, washable and not wool
Size D hook
Sizes: A, B, C, D, & DD cups. These are approximate and will depend on the amount of filling used.
Abbreviations:
ch – chain
dc – double crochet
sl st – slip stitch
hdc – half double crochet
st – stitch
yo – yarn over
Instructions:
Leave 1 yard of yarn at the beginning to make a nipple.
Ch 4 and join with a sl st to the first ch to make a circle.
Round 1: ch 3 (acts as a dc), 11 dc into circle, join with a sl st into the top of the ch 3 at the beginning
of the round. (12 dc)
Round 2: ch 2, 2 hdc in the same place as the ch 2, 1 hdc, *3 hdc in the next st, 1 hdc. Repeat from *
to end of round. Join into the top of the ch 2 at the beginning of the round. (24 hdc)
Round 3: ch 2, 1 hdc in the same place as the ch 2, 1 hdc, *2 hdc in the next st, 1 hdc. Repeat from *
to end of round. Join as before. (36 hdc)
The shaping for the A cup is finished. For all other sizes continue. Ch 2, work 1 hdc in each st for 4
rounds. Make nipple and then start decreases.
Round 4: ch 2, 1 hdc in the next 3 sts, *2 hdc in the next st, 1 hdc in the next 2 sts. Repeat from * to
end of round. Join. (48 hdc)
The shaping for the B cup is finished. For all other sizes continue. Ch 2, work 1 hdc in each st for 5
rounds. Make nipple and then start decreases.
Round 5: ch 2, 1 hdc in the next 4 sts, *2 hdc in the next st, 1 hdc in the next 3 sts. Repeat from * to
end of round. Join (60 hdc)
The shaping for the C cup is finished. For all other sizes continue. Ch 2, work 1 hdc in each st for 6
rounds. Make nipple and then start decreases.
Round 6: ch 2, 1 hdc in the next 5 sts, *2 hdc in the next st, 1 hdc in the next 4 sts. Repeat from * to
end of round. Join (72 hdc)
The shaping for the D cup is finished. For all other sizes continue. Ch 2, work 1 hdc in each st for 7
rounds. Make nipple and then start decreases.
Round 7: ch 2, 1 hdc in the next 6 sts, *2 hdc in the next st, 1 hdc in the next 5 sts. Repeat from * to
end of round. Join (84 hdc)
The shaping for the DD cup is finished. Ch 2, work 1 hdc in each st for 8 rounds. Make nipple and then
start decreases.
To make the nipple:
Using the tail left at the beginning, ch 5. Work 8 dc in the 4th ch from the hook. Bind off and stitch
firmly in place in a raised circle.
Decreases:
To hdc into 2 sts – yo and go into first st, yo and pull it through, yo and pull it through 2 sts, go into 2nd
st, yo and pull it through all 3 sts on hook.
For DD cup start here:
Next round – ch 2, *5 hdc, hdc into 2 sts. Repeat form * to end of round. Join (72 hdc)
For D cup start here:
Next round – ch 2, *4 hdc, hdc into 2 sts. Repeat from * to end of round. Join (60 hdc)
For C cup start here:
Next round - ch 2, *3 hdc, hdc into 2 sts. Repeat from * to end of round. Join (48 hdc)
For B cup start here:
Next round - ch 2, *2 hdc, hdc into 2 sts. Repeat form * to end of round. Join (36 hdc)
For A cup start here:
Next round – ch 2, *1 hdc, hdc into 2 sts. Repeat from * to end of round. Join (24 hdc)
Round 4 – ch 2, *hdc into 2 sts. Repeat from * to end of round. Join (12 hdc). End off.
Finishing:
Tie a 18” length of very thin ribbon to the open circle. Weave in ends around circle, pull together and
tie into bow.
