Research Assistance I/O research
Description: Under the direction of Dr. Jason Huang, I performed research on students of Wayne
State University. The Research studied the effects of computer based training on learning. This
achieved by training the participants to play a game of Mahjong via computer. Participants
were then required to play a game of Mahjong. Data was then collected and coded for. The
impact of this research will help support computer based training and allow companies to train
employees on a variety of different tasks more efficiently and effectively. It may also reduce the
cost of training programs used in industries.
Responsibilities:
 Managed operation of lab twice a week

Description: Currently I am assisting Dr. Lisa Marchiondo with three research projects. The studies
are on age discrimination for older workers, differences in leadership acquisition amongst men
and women and attraction and leadership amongst public figures. My duties differ from study to
study and include creating surveys, running labs, analysis, data entry, and using Qualtrics.
