Unit 1: Greek Mythology (SAMPLE)
By the end of the unit, students will answer the following writing prompt: Think about the characters, settings, and/or events in mythology that you have been learning about.
Think about specific details that helped develop the characters, setting and events.
Develop a narrative based on an imagined event that explains something about the nature world (e.g. How a zebra got its stripes). Describe in depth a character and setting using
descriptive details, and a clear sequence of events.
