The Angels Choir was founded by Father Anthony Ikhenoba from the Diocese of Kaduna and was launched in the UK on World Aids Day 2006. The children of the choir all come from a small village in West Africa. Here the local people struggle daily to survive with limited food and fresh water. Father Anthony recognised that the children had a talent – their voices – resulting in songs worthy of the highest accolades. His aim is to restore hope into the lives of the children by giving them the chance to help their community through the gift of music. The children sing from their hearts with incredible passion, wholeheartedly committed to doing whatever they can to help improve the conditions in which they, their families and friends live. Geoff is joined by Sebastiaan de Krom on drums and Jamie Cullum (in a rare sideman role) on vocals and piano. The trio are joined by Martin Shaw on trumpet, with Tim Garland on saxophone and the Juno String Quartet Quartet.
