Assumed leadership of an ineffective security program and used a global approach to classify

Implemented the first crisis management mechanism for immediate response, building


Successfully oversaw all technical components of a $100 million security budget,
including a $17 million security services subcontract, meeting all budgetary goals and
accomplishing all security objectives to keep critical reconstruction projects operating

Employed Iraqi Kurds in lieu of third country nationals as static guards for a large
construction company covering three major projects involving 11 security managers and
staff, 150 expatriates, and over 2000 third country nationals and local staff in multiple locations,
saving over $100,000

In the midst of the Iraq War, as head of security of a massive water project, took decisive
action to protect Pakistani citizens in Iraq in a life-threatening situation, personally escorting
all to safety at a Coalition military base

Significantly reduced potential for waste, fraud and abusive practices with deployment of
a new process to evaluate the cost and technical integrity of contractor proposals and tracked
security providers

At the peak of the Iraqi insurgency, established new standardized procedures, policies

Supervised persons on jurisdiction to the court, conducted investigations, provided reports to
