High Wycombe, 29 February 2016 - I am pleased to announce that Robin Hayles has joined
the Hyundai UK PR team as Product PR Manager.
Robin has worked for Hyundai in the UK since 2004 and has held a number of roles across
the business in the Technical, Product and Fleet departments. He brings with him a wealth
of technical knowledge and experience of our product range, including fuel cell.
Robin may be known to some of you in his previous role as Special Vehicles Manager with
responsibility for the introduction of the ix35 Fuel Cell to the UK market. In this role, he
became a leading member of the European and Global Task Force Teams for Fuel Cell
implementation. He has also represented Hyundai Motor Company sitting on a number of
Hydrogen committee’s in the UK, such as the London Hydrogen Partnership and UKH2
Mobility.
Robin said: “I have been very privileged to have experienced the meteoric rise of the
Hyundai brand in the UK in the 12 years that I have worked here. The company and the
products have been totally transformed and we are now looking towards the future of
mobility with products such as the forthcoming Ioniq and the ix35 Fuel Cell. I am thrilled to
have joined the team here and look forward to meeting you all in my new role over the
coming weeks and months.”

contact.

Robin Hayles has worked in the motor industry since 1993, initially in main dealer roles with
Nissan and Toyota, before joining Hyundai Motor UK in 2004. His career with Hyundai
began as one of the UK’s Technical Engineers, before moving across into the Product
Department with product responsibilities covering Hyundai’s SUV’s and commercial vehicles.
He will be on the Hyundai stand (1040 in Hall 1) at Geneva Motor Show.
