Name of University + website
Purdue University http://www.purdue.edu/
Purdue University is one of the leading institutions in the USA in the fields of
agriculture and environmental sciences. Especially with BOKU University we share all
fields of study. We have more than 800 university clubs, i.e. athletic clubs, Rodeo
Club, international student club, climbing club, art, dance, cultural and ethnic groups.
University sport is a big issue here, experiencing a football season might be something
special for a student from Austria.
If students have interest in doing an internship at a farm (average size of farms
approx. 1500 hectares) or at a company or even research at the university it is
possible and can be organized during an exchange semester at our university. In that
case the university can prolong the visa.
