Mentorship Program Overview Mentorship Mentoring is a two-way mutually beneficial learning situation where the mentor functions as teacher, coach, role model and/or guide by sharing advice, resources, knowledge, experiences, skills, perspectives, attitudes, and proficiencies. As a mentor, you will build a new, meaningful relationship with a protégé. The relationship ideally should be based on specific goals driven by the protégé but, it also may develop over time more informally as the protégé requires advice from the mentor.
