Thursday:
Take the Unit 1 Quiz and complete the Unit 2 Notes Outline.
Friday:
Correct the Unit 2 Notes Outline and begin the Animal Science Careers Project.
Block 3: Natural Resources
Monday:
Correct the Soil Resources web and the Chapter 1 “Test Your Knowledge” (TYK) assignment;
and review for the Chapter 1 Quiz.
Tuesday:
Take the Chapter 1 Quiz and begin Class-related Projects Topic search.
Wednesday:
Finish searching for Class-related Projects Topics; discuss Chapter 2; and define the Chapter 2
Terms.
Thursday:
Correct the Chapter 2 Terms; read pages 317-321; and complete the “Natural Resources
Management Continuum” (NRMC) Questions and the Chapter 2 TYK.
Friday:
Discuss the NRMC Questions and correct the Chapter 2 TYK; and begin to type a one-page
essay titled, “Where I Stand on the Natural Resources Management Continuum and Why?”
Block 4: Plant Science
Monday:
Finish the “Horticulture vs. Agronomy” compare-and-contrast charts and begin to search for
Class-related Projects Topics.
Tuesday:
Finish searching for Class-related Projects Topics; share the “Horticulture vs. Agronomy”
compare-and-contrast charts; and complete the Unit 1 Self Evaluation and the Unit 1 Crossword.
Wednesday:
Correct the Unit 1 Self-Evaluation and Crossword Puzzle; finish Unit 1 notes; and review for the
Unit 1 Quiz.
Thursday:
Take the Unit 1 Quiz; and begin the Unit 2 discussion and “Know Books”.
Friday:
Make plant names flash cards and continue the Unit 2 discussion and “Know Books”.
