This year’s program will focus on the merger of technology advancements in both the automotive and
infrastructure elements of our transportation systems.

SESSION I – ITS - THE VIEW FROM WASHINGTON
The conference will bring together local, state and national partners in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) to
learn about new developments, issues and programs.
The purpose of this annual meeting is to share information and examine barriers and opportunities related to joining
the substantial capabilities that are either currently available, or will be available in the near future. The Annual
Conference will also include examination of current and future automotive research activities and needs along with
what the state and federal departments of transportation are doing, or need to do, to integrate these technologies in the
most effective and efficient way possible.

chapter of ITS America, a central point of contact for business, government and education leaders in ITS Technology
applications.
