consists of tracking customer shipments of a shipments company. Based on the customer's entry the script
tracks the shipment from its origin to its destination. The script checks for the Username as well as
checking the shipment number. Tracking can be done on both shipment number as well as Reference
number. Actual Proof Of Delivery papers can be scanned and stored as JPEG images (if required, this
image is displayed on clients query made while tracking the shipment which shall be posted exactly 24hrs
after the delivery time). The data is read from MySQL files. The site is run on Linux server and uses PHP4
server-side scripting language and MySQL database.
Online Computer Shopping Cart Period: January 2002 February 2002
Lead Architect and Team Manager leading a team of 5 for developing an Online Computer Shopping Mart.
The work involves in planning, scheduling of work, database design and user interface design of this online
system. A Retail Shopping Cart and Catalog software to serve dynamic database and graphical information
to the Internet users and as a place of business for the users to purchase retail items related to computer
hardware and software. PHP and JavaScript Forms were created to allow users to submit their own
information to the database. CGI programs written in using PHP were used to validate and process the data
and to serve up dynamic Pedigree PHP pages, also Developed Order Entry Applications for sales
department. Provided inventory tracking system and maintenance of company's daily tasks, including track
shipping, order entry, product status, and bill of materials. The site is run on Linux server and uses PHP4

Store. Online store is the on shop stop for all photographic needs with wide range of products from branded
companies. This site has an additional feature of sharing a photo while just uploading the same to server
and getting the print of the same. A different type of transaction is offered here, a virtual credit card, which
will function as a debit card but will enable customers to have discounts rather than service charges. Used

Project Leader of 5 Member team involved in Developing a SQL Server based Intranet application for
StoreTek, for its all corporate internal Data products & Services purchasing. Server-side VBScript and
client-side JavaScript were used to develop this application on a Windows 2000 BackOffice platform.
Implemented a searchable browser based staff directory database, for use on the department's web page and
intranet also created an interactive private conference forum on the department's intranet for the managers
to collaborate and discuss issues.

Part of the Website Designing team of 10 personals for the development of numerous web sites like
keralaweb.com, fedo.com, casybank.com, seematti.com, cochinport.com, to name a few. The website
keralaweb.com was the first website in Kerala to have features like E-Cards, Matrimonial, Cyber Friends,
Astrology, etc. It was featured as one of the best site developed. The web sites used HTML, DHTML,

System Study for VNC Virtual Network Computing a remote display system which allows you to view a
computing 'desktop' environment not only on the machine where it is running, but from anywhere on the
Internet and from a wide variety of machine architectures. The scope of work involved to do were Design,

with database validation, VNC Applet (Java).
System Feasibility Study Period: October 2000 December 2000
Performed a System Study on object-oriented databases for Endress + Hauser. Researched commercially
available object-oriented databases such as Ontos, Object Store, and Versant. The purpose of the study was
to determine the feasibility of using object-oriented databases in some of the clients applications.
Sales Analysis & Marketing Management System
Period: June 2000 October 2000
Project leader, led a team of 6 for the back-end development of the Sales Analysis and Marketing
Management System on Microsoft SQL Server. Wrote stored procedures for this client/server project.
Developed the interface between SAMM and PacifiCare's mail house. Provided database administration in
both development and production environments. Used MS SQL Server, Servlets and JBuilder.
Marketing Pricing Catalogue

Project leader, led a team of 4 to develop a pricing catalogue system querying from SQL. System consists
of Catalogue Number for each item; Item wise Department Users list, Vendor list, preparation of tender
document maintenance of daybook etc. Used Visual Basic, MSSQL, under Windows NT environment.
Report requirements were satisfied using Crystal Reports.
Stock & Bond System
Period: October 1999 -November 1999
Project leader, led a team of 4 software programmers to develop an in-house table-base software system
used throughout the application. I also performed the initial systems and database analysis for the
Investment Department's Stock and Bond database system. Designed and developed a number of Microsoft
Access and Visual Basic special purpose accounting systems for Stock and share price analysis. This was
implemented on platforms including Internet and Intranet under Windows/NT, stand-alone and LAN-based
PCs supporting Windows. Used Visual Basic 5.0, MS Access 97 under Windows NT environment. Report
requirements were satisfied using Crystal Reports.
SOP Systems
Period: August 1999 -September 1999
Project leader, headed a team of 6 software programmers involved in designing and development of Sales
Order Processing System (SOPS) is designed for an organization to monitor and control order processing.
This system ensures that orders are executed, invoices are raised against deliveries made, and stock
maintenance accounts receivable is monitored. The order processing modules maintains transactions and
updating related to order processing and also used to record the sales orders received from the customers
and to record the deliveries made against the orders. The invoicing module captures details against the type
of deliveries made for each order form. The system generates sales related reports to provide consolidated
register for the sales made during the period. Used Visual Basic 5.0, MS SQL under Windows NT
environment. Report requirements were satisfied using Crystal Reports.
Project Mplus
Period: December 1998 - February 1999
Project leader, for a team of 3 involved in database design, user interface design and coding of product the
first Phase of a Civil Engineering based software MPlus for Kerala State Construction Company. Fully
customizable Project (Construction, Engineering) Evaluation and Management Software to generate
running account bills and financial settlements. The application analyses the cost analysis of construction of
a building, road whatever need. It gives the quantity of raw materials to be used and man labour and their
rates needed for the proposed work. It compares the prices with other district HQ and even to the sub
contractors level. Hence a contract can given at the best suited price and minimizing the cost. Used Visual
Basic 5.0, Crystal reports 4.5 and Ms Access 97 under Windows NT environment.
SDFCAF
Period: October 1998 - November 1998
Project leader, for a team of 4 involved in database design, user interface design and coding of product for a
documentation Software SDFCAF (Shipping documentation for Clearing and forwarding) to be used in
E.D.I. for Sagar Shipping and its associated shipping companies. This Package is exclusively designed for
Shipping Companies. This Package has a very user-friendly menu driven facility that helps in easy data
entry. The forms submitted are perfectly automated. The package helps in job allocations by sea Air/Sea for
export and import. Important processes are in Export, Import documentation. This package has a special
facility to prepare quotation for both Import/Export jobs. So based on this the quotation amount and actual
amount spent, bill for the job can be prepared. Used Visual Basic 5.0, Crystal reports 4.5 and Ms Access 97
underWindows NT environment.
Payroll System Software Period: August 1998-September 1998
Project Leader, led a team of 4 to develop a Payroll System Software involving all features taken up by a
wages arm of finance department in any large organization. Details of all employees including their

designation, basic pay, DA, allowances, perks and deductions like PF, income tax, loans, professional tax
insurance, etc., are taken care of by the programs. Net pay calculations were done taking into account the
loss of pay, number of days worked, leave etc. Used Visual Basic 5.0, Crystal reports 4.5 and MS Access
97 under Windows NT environment.
Marketing Network

Analyst System Software Engineer in a team of 3 for fully computerization of the marketing network. It is

Data Transfer System

Team leader of a 3-member team, involved in interfaces design and coding of product Data Transfer
System. A tool for transferring that would compress and encrypt large files from the respected branch
offices to their regional offices. Data transfer from one location to another using file transfer protocol using
sockets connects. Server space would be allocated for data transfer. It would be provided with separate
Login and Password to enhance more security. Used Visual Basic 5.0 under Windows NT environment.
