In accordance with this classification all settlements are classified as “town” and “other”. Settlements defined by the legal act or by the agreement with authorized local government units are considered “town”. “Other” settlements are rural or urban. 2) Data followed by the RSSO obtained through the research of public water supply system are related only to water consumption from the public water supply system (private wells, accumulations, etc are not included here). 3) From the research on public water supply system RSSO obtains data about number of sewer connection which does not correspond to the number of households connected to the sewer system. Septic tanks were not covered by this research. 4) Estimation was done in accordance with methodology for physical and monetary indicators related to water catchment, use and discharge in Sweden. Water consumption in animal husbandry is not related only to public water supply system but also on consumption from other sources (own water catchment, accumulation, etc). 5) For irrigation purposes water is taken from: under ground waters, water sources, lakes, accumulations and water supply systems. 6) Since 2008 number of sewer connections is equal to the number of households connected to the sewer system.
