Resolutions were written, but not presented Convention of 1833 April 1, 1833 Delegates San Felipe Austin arrested November 1833 Austin Mexican officials Arrested in Saltillo Mexico City Adopted similar resolutions as 1832. Wrote a constitution for the separate Mexican state of Texas. Austin took the resolutions to Mexico City. Austin’s letters had been intercepted and Austin imprisoned Austin released Christmas 1834 July 11, 1835 Stephen F. Austin Mexico City Vera Cruz-Texas Austin was released, but had to stay in Mexico City, He is later allowed to return to Texas Anahuac 1835 Captian Antonio Tenorio, Anderw Briscoe Anahuac Briscoe led settlers to revolt against customs duties. Briscoe arrested which caused dislike towards Mexico in TX.
