The Chancellor’s Advisory Committee on Non-Senate Academic Affairs is soliciting nominations for three NonSenate Distinguished Achievement Awards. The three categories of Achievement are Distinguished Teacher,
Distinguished Researcher, and Distinguished Research-Instruction Collaboration. Any Non-Senate member who has
made exceptional contributions to research, teaching or collaboration is eligible. Nominations may be made by
Academic Senate Faculty, Non-Senate Faculty, and/or students. Each nominator should submit a complete letter
which must include at least the following information: (1) a statement explaining the nominee’s qualifications and
(2) the nominator’s name and address.
Upon receipt of the nomination, the Chancellor’s Advisory Committee will request all available pertinent material
from heads of departments and programs. Nominators will be encouraged to provide additional sources of
supporting materials.
