Chair/committee creates position description and sends to HR to input into GaelRecruit powered by NeoGov. Chair creates requisition to route for approval. HR verifies description with Hiring Manager, checks for compliance with institutional requirements and puts into GaelRecruit powered NeoGov. HR monitors approvals and notifies Chair if there are any problems. HR assesses with chair who will have viewing rights of applications. HR assigns rights and refers candidates. HR to post the position on the SMC site after Chair’s review and approval. HR ensures that consistent and standard language on how to apply is utilized; advises chair that the position will be posted for a definite date with a minimum of 30 days.
