We are looking for enthusiastic new employees this year, both part-time and full-time.
Before you apply, I would like to give you an overview of our operation. Our season officially
opens on Mother’s Day weekend at our Hebron Avenue (Wickham Hill) stand. The stand is very
busy during June, due to the pick-your-own strawberries.
The home farm at Matson Hill will open a week before Father’s Day for strawberry season.
Most of the open hours are on the weekends during the month of June.
Once strawberry season is over, about July 4th, the main farm becomes the focus of our operation.
Our hours during this season are usually M/T/W 8am to 6pm, Thursday 8am to 8pm, Fridays and
Saturdays 8am to 5pm and Sundays 9am to 5 pm.
The Hebron Ave Stand has set hours after strawberries season. We are open 9 to 6 Monday to
Friday and 9 to 5 Saturday and Sundays. We may extend the closing hour one day a week to make
it possible for customers to shop later.
Our busiest season is July 15 to about August 15. This is when both the blueberries and raspberries
are in season and we are involved in 15 Farmers’ Markets around the state.
Sundays are our busiest day of the week, featuring our “Breakfast-With-A-View”.
We do request that anyone planning on working for us during the summer season plan to work
nearly every weekend.
If you have a special event on a weekend, we try our best to accommodate your requests if you give
us at least 2 weeks notice.
During the fall we are in need of help on the weekends from the end of September through
Halloween with Pumpkins and Hayrides. We resume in late November for Christmas Tree sales.
