Overview: Whether state finances are healthy or not, there are a number of tax items the
legislature will undertake in the years ahead. The margin tax is under assault in the
courts and in political campaigns; nexus will continue to dog the sales tax; and
lawmakers may soon use new constitutional authority to impose greater uniformity
over the administration of local property taxes. Dale Craymer talks about what to
expect on the Texas tax front in the years ahead.
