CNEE 126-Switching & Routing: Student Learning Outcomes: M. El-Soussi, Fall 2004 Students should be able to successfully: 1. Install, configure, maintain, and document a small to medium size Local Area Network using Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) features according to customer specifications. 2. Configure routing protocols to run over Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) using Variable Length Subnet Mask (VLSM) and Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR) for a given set of specification. 3. Configure and test Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), static Network Address translation and Port Address Translation (NAT/PAT) over a frame-Relay circuit, using Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP) for two Wide Area Network sites.
