Selfpollinating LA. Early Satsuma- Fruit is juicy, small to medium in size, seedless, thin skin, segmented slices, easy to peel, ripens from late September to mid October. Selfpollinating ST. ANN It is a very high yield, very early Satsuma, which will out produce any other type 2 to 1. Produces Late August to September. Self-pollinating Oranges Washington Navel Large round seedless fruit with a navel on top of fruit ripens mid November to January. Dream Navel Sweet, juicy & less acidic than most other navels, medium in size with pale orange rind, orange pulp & mango aroma. Pineapple Navel Medium to large flattened ends, seedless fruit. LA Sweet Fruit medium-small, seeds very few or none. Well-colored at maturity Rind thin, with smooth, finely pitted surface. Flesh well-colored; tender, juicy, lacking in acid; flavor sweet. One of the earliest to mature. Valencia oranges Have seeds, varying in number from zero to six per fruit. However, its excellent taste and internal color make it desirable for the fresh markets, too. The fruit has an average diameter of 2.7 to 3 inches After bloom, it usually carries two crops on the tree, the old and the new Medium sized fruit, dark burgundy rind, almost seedless, blood colored flesh. Blood Orange (Moro) Grapefruit Ruby Red Grapefruit- Large oblate fruit with yellow/orange skin, flesh is red blush in color. Rio Red Larger fruit with smooth thin yellow skin, deep red flesh. Lemons Meyer Lemon Thin, smooth, yellow/orange skin, medium in size, fruit very juicy. Variegated Lemon- Tree foliage is variegated in color (green, yellow & white leaves); fruit is pink inside when ripe. Kumquats Nagami Sour Oval shaped fruit, skin sweet with tart flesh. Limes Key Lime- Thorn less Persian lime smaller in size, thin, smooth yellow/greenish skin, flesh is also yellow/greenish, high acidity, strong aroma, tart and bitter taste, seedier. Persian Lime Thicker skin, oval shaped, green skin that turns yellow when ripe, medium/large fruit, juicy, aromatic and acidic, light green/yellow pulp. kaffir lime A rough, warty green fruit that grows on thorny bush with aromatic and distinctively shaped "double" leaves. It is well suited to container growing Mandarin Ponkan A great tree to grow, and produces fruit larger than most mandarins, plus the fruit has a pleasant sweetness to it. Tangerines Sunburst Tangerine Fruit is oblate, flattened at stem end and has a depressed navel, it is a cross between hybrids Robinson and Osceola tangerine, rind is thin, smooth and segmented slices with 10 to 20 seeds per fruit, ripens in mid November to late December. Other Citrus Orlando tangelo Chandler Pummelo Calamondin Is often considered an ornamental citrus tree, but the fruit is edible. The fruit is small and orange, about 1" in diameter, and resembles a small tangerine. The peel is thin and smooth, yellow to yellow-orange and easily separable. The flesh is orange, juicy and acid. Fruit is extra, extra large, flesh is pink, ripens in November Fruit that is firm, juicy, and sweetest of all. The fresh figs you will harvest from your own backyard are of excellent quality. The fruit is small to medium sized with violet to purplish brown colored skin. White Fig In the Kadota family, medium sized, lemon yellow fruit with thick skin, sweet amber flesh, and few seeds. Marsailles Medium to large, greenish/yellow fig with pulp. Kadota Greenish/white fig, small to medium size, all purpose fig mostly used to canned. Pear Bartlett Pear Medium sized with smooth yellow skin, flesh is smooth, juicy and excellent for canning, pear shaped, 800 chill hours Asian Pear Eating crisp, apple to tear drop shape, fruit is juicier than an apple, 450 chill hours. Plum Methley Plum Medium sized fruit, self fertile, red/purple in color, juicy red flesh, ripens early June. Santa Rosa Self fertile, purple/red in color, yellow flesh, ripen late June. Loquat (Japanese Plum Small evergreen tree with a round crown, short trunk, and wooly twigs, fruits in clusters, succulent pulp with 3 to 5 seeds, flowers in fall. Peach Flodagold Peach Rounded, medium to large in size, yellow-fleshed, semi freestone peach, 325 chill hours. Sam Houston Peach Round to oval with large tips, yellow freestone peach, self-pollinating, 500 chill hours. LA Feliciana Peach Large, sweet, freestone peach ripens in July, self-pollinating, 550 chill hours. Flordaking Peach Medium sized red-blush skin & golden/yellow flesh, semi clingstone peach, self-pollinating, 400 to 450 chill hours. Vines Premier Blueberry Avocado Sweet healthy, large powdery blue berries, high quality, early ripening, showy fall color, shades of red and orange Joey Very vigorous and a dependable bearer, is pear- shaped and dark purple- black in color with smooth skin.
