Orchard Goldstar o Standards-based pretests assign targeted instruction Students begin by taking a grade-specific and subject-specific pretest based upon state standards. This pretest assesses which standard(s) the student has mastered and which standard(s) he/she is struggling with. Orchard then automatically creates a customized learning plan for the student by assigning specific Skill Trees based on identified problem areas. Correlation Finder assigns standard-specific content Correlation Finder is a built-in, state-specific database unique to Orchard For Your State. It is designed to help teachers create Skill Tree assignments that teach the skills they know their students are struggling with. These teacher-made assignments can either override, or be combined with, Skill Tree assignments based on students’ pretest results. This straightforward tool helps educators effectively address students’ diverse needs by integrating technology into their curriculum. State-specific postests measure educational gains. After students have worked through Orchard’s instructional content, posttests can then be administered to measure educational gains and to identify any areas where further instruction is needed. Jefferson Lab o Similar to SOLpass.org in that it provides review with games, puzzles, and interactive activities. o Not generally used to track individual assessement. o Provides resources for Science and Math ARDT o The Algebra Readiness Diagnostic Testing Program™ (ARDTP) is a webbased system for conducting diagnostic assessments of the math and algebra skills of students in Grades 4 through 9. o Using both strand tests and computer adaptive tests, ARDTP generates immediate and reliable diagnostic feedback across five mathematic strands: Number and Number Sense; Computation and Estimation; Measurement and Geometry; Probability and Statistics; and Patterns, Functions and Algebra. o When ARDTP is used as a pre- and post-testing tool, students take an adaptive exam at the beginning of the school year to determine strengths and weaknesses; the assessment is taken again near the end of the school year to determine the progress that has been made. In between, students take "strand" tests to chart progress within specific areas.
