CLIENT PROFILE
PT. Synergy Oil Nusantara (PT. SON) is a consumer company that is committed to producing
sustainable palm oil which is located in Kabil Port Road, 12.5 km Kabil, Batam, Riau Islands, Indonesia.
Taken over on March 28, 2006 by a foreign company joint venture between PT. Indo TH Plantation with
Twin Wealth Group Hong Kong. On December 26, 2008 PT. Synergy Oil Nusantara was taken over by
PT. Indo TH Plantation 100%. On December 7, 2009 PT. Synergy Oil Nusantara was taken over by
Felda Iffco 50% and 50% TH Indo Plantation. Where is the raw material provided by PT. Indo TH
Plantation, located in Riau with the provision of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) approached the 250,000 MT per
year.
The main activity of PT. Synergy Oil Nusantara is refining CPO into value-added product that consists
of RBD (Refined bleached deodorized) Palm Olein or better known as cooking oil, RBD Palm Stearin,
and Palm Fatty Acid distillate (PFAD) as a byproduct of the processing of CPO.
The production process refineries PT. SON and production facilities have strict control system to
ensure that every product produced in accordance with the highest quality standards consistently. The
production facility is equipped with a laboratory to determine the quality of the raw shot production
process and final products before shipping.
Role & Responsibilities
My role as a PP-PI Consultant during the project is as follows.
Designed the complete production workflow.







Analyzed the As-Is condition of the clients, existing manufacturing system and carried
out the To-be analysis, business process re-engineering and configuration.
Involved in master data collection from key users of the company.
Involved in material master creation, Bill of material creation, routing creation.
Solving the end user issues.
Prepared End user manuals accordingly.
Implemented ASAP methodology Scoping, responsible for business analysis &
Requirements gathering, research and interviews with end users, documentation, eading
blueprints, testing, and modeling of business requirements, realization, pre go-live, go-live.

Preparation of Functional Specifications for New Developments / Enhancement requirements of
the Client.

Studied and documented the SAP PP-PI module for functionality of master data like Material
Master, Bill of Materials, Resource, Recipe and transactional data like Demand Management,
MPS, Shop Floor control using process orders system.
Listed the Testing data for all scenarios and performed the full cycle.


