Bethel’s catalog and transfer information can be viewed at www.bethel.edu. It can
be sent to you and it is available in the Waubonsee CC counseling office.
This transfer guide is designed to help a student at Waubonsee CC easily choose
courses to take at Waubonsee CC that will satisfy most of Bethel general education
(core curriculum) requirements through Spring 2012. Unless otherwise indicated,
one (1) course from each area will satisfy that gen ed requirement. Pages 16-31 in
the 2011-2012 Bethel catalog provides further information regarding Bethel’s
transfer and general education requirements. In most cases, with careful planning
you will be able to fulfill Waubonsee CC curriculum objectives, while also
completing coursework that Bethel requires. Contact Bethel or Waubonsee CC for
assistance with your planning.
Here are some additional guidelines to consider:
-Most courses required for a specific academic major should be taken at Bethel.
-Any Waubonsee CC course taken to satisfy a requirement for a major at Bethel
should be approved by the specific academic department at Bethel.
-Nearly all of the courses listed on this guide will also fit the MNTC.
-Bethel’s programs are designed to be completed in 4 years. Early
communication with you will allow Bethel to help you to determine when it is
best for you to transfer.
-Courses that are listed under more than one category can only count once.
Students can choose which category they prefer.
- A grade of ‘C’ or higher is required on each course to be accepted by Bethel.
-An official transcript must be sent to Bethel once the course is complete and
grade posted.
