Aditya Auto Products & Engineering India Private Limited is a privately owned and
professionally managed organization, engaged in the business of design & manufacture
of system & sub system to meet the requirements of the growing automobile industry.
Beginning as Autarky Auto in April 1989 and established as Aditya Auto Products in
February 1999, the company has its headquarters in Bangalore, India, and works closely
with leading players in the automobile industry, both in India and the rest of the world. At
Aditya Auto, our core competencies lie in the design and manufacture of a wide range of
products and crucial components for leading automobile brands across a large spectrum

LOCATIONS
Domestic
Aditya Auto is based at Bangalore with the primary manufacturing hubs located at two
sites. While the Door & Access Division and Contract Manufacturing Division are located
at the Doddaballapura Industrial Area, the Wiring Harness Division is located at the
Bommasandra Industrial Area.
In keeping with the tradition of working closely with our customers and to service our
customers in western & central India, Aditya Auto will soon have its facility in Haryana, in
proximity to the Maruti Udyog plant. Similarly, Aditya Auto will soon have a facility at
Pune, close to the Tata Motors plant.

Aditya Auto has worked its way into the Contract Manufacturing scene by riding the

INFRASTRUCTURE
DOOR & ACCESS DIVISION
This division located in the Doddaballapur Industrial Area on the outskirts of Bangalore,
deals with the design and manufacture of Window Regulators and Door Latches for
various vehicles with customers located across India and abroad.
Under Technical license with ArvinMeritor, a global leader in Window Regulators & Door
Latches, Sun Roof and related products, this division of Aditya Auto has an agreement
that provides for technical assistance and new product development.
Spread over floor area of 3450 sq m in a 6032 sq m campus, this unit has a full
complement of facilities like Welding facility and Manufacturing lines along with testing
facilities.

WIRING HARNESS DIVISION
A 100% Export Oriented Unit, this division located at the Bommasandra Industrial Area
on the outskirts of Bangalore, deals with the design and manufacture of Harnesses,
Integrated Products, Lead wires and Insert Molded Connectors for export.
This division has the distinction of being ranked thirteenth in India and is also the only
manufacturing facility to get ISO, QS & TS certifications within three years of inception.
Spread over floor area of 1750 sq m in a 4000 sq m campus, this unit has a full
complement of facilities for high quality production.
CONTRACT MANUFACTURING DIVISION
Established in 2005, this division primarily deals with the exports of Window Regulator
and Latch sub systems. This division also houses Aditya Auto’s Engineering Design
Center.
Located at the Aditya Auto campus in the Doddaballapur Industrial Area on the outskirts
of Bangalore, this facility addresses the demand for outsourced manufacturing of auto
components and epitomizes our competitive edge in the realm of design, testing and
prototype development.
This division of Aditya Auto caters to the manufacture of products intended for OEMs of
leading international automobile brands and is capable of meeting specific product
development requirements. This plant is capable of high volume production conforming
to International quality standards.
Aditya Auto is a major player in the export of automotive parts to ArvinMeritor, from our
Contract Manufacturing Division. The major products are Door Latch sub-systems like
Retention Plate & Back Plate sub-assemblies and Window Regulator sub-assemblies.
COLD HEADING & PART MANUFACTURING
Established in 2006, this is the latest addition to the manufacturing divisions at Aditya
Auto. Located at Pudukottai near Trichy in Tamil Nadu, this division handles the Cold
Forging, Cold Heading and Vertical Integration tasks.
Spread over an 18,000 sq feet campus, this division deals with the manufacture of
fasteners and rivets.
ENGINEERING DESIGN
Design Capabilities
In line with customer preferences and emerging trends in the auto components sector, at
Aditya Auto, the accent is on innovation to come up with fresh design concepts in the
realm of products that we specialize.
While product and process innovation form the key to providing the best in line product

Tool Design
The Engineering Design team at Aditya Auto has specific competencies to cater to the
Tool Design requirements of the auto components industry. This includes turnkey
solutions in product design services and assembly solutions for automobiles.
At Aditya Auto, our Tool Design team brings design competencies that ensure faster
turnaround time, cost reduction and enhanced quality. The team works in partnership
with the customers from the drawing board through the development process to the final
delivery of parts and sub-assemblies.
Our key tool design capabilities include 20 Stations of 2.5 m x 2 m Progressive dies,
Fine blanking tools, Hot Runner Molding tools, Special fixtures and gauges.
Product Validation
As part of our services offering, Aditya Auto provides complete Testing & Validation
services spanning a wide range of auto components.
At Aditya Auto, we have comprehensive infrastructure to provide product validation
based on specific customer requirements. Full product validation is done as per
customer specifications – ranging from Computerized Test rigs, Salt Spray,
Environmental, Anechoic and Dust Chambers, Rain Water Test rig, Slam Test rig, Latch,
UTM and Metrology.

A spin-off from our Testing facilities is the Validation services that we offer to customers
on a wide range of auto components.
At Aditya Auto, we have comprehensive infrastructure to provide product validation
based on specific customer requirements – ranging from Computerized Test rigs, Salt
Spray, Environmental, Anechoic and Dust Chambers, Rain Water Test rig, Slam Test
rig, Latch, UTM and Metrology.
All products undergo rigorous testing to ensure high performance and durability. This
involves tests for operating conditions, durability and robustness to ensure high
endurance levels, through simulation and evaluation of performance under controlled
conditions.

Aditya Auto specializes in the design and development of engineering samples using low
cost techniques.
These samples developed by our engineering team enable testing and performance
assessment of products against various parameters. Simulations using these samples
also facilitate investigations into the impact of external forces like friction, weight and
wear and tear, providing deeper insights on failure modes.
