There is no change in the size of the council – remains at 64 members. The split across the districts has changed – there are now eight divisions in South Derbyshire (previously seven) and seven divisions in North East Derbyshire (previously eight). Previously there were 64 divisions and 64 members. Now there are 61 divisions - three divisions will be represented by two members. They are: o Alfreton & Somercotes Division - combines the existing separate divisions of Alfreton and Somercotes o Glossop & Charlesworth Division - combines the existing division of Glossop South and most of Glossop North and Rural although one polling district in St Johns ward has been transferred to Etherow o Eckington & Killamarsh Division – combines the existing separate divisions of Eckington and Killamarsh.
