Volunteer opportunities that might be able to offer internships
The following organizations have contacted the U of I Office of Volunteer Programs in order to find
students interested in doing volunteer work for them. It can be useful to do some volunteer work in
advance of seeking an internship. For more information on volunteering opportunities, contact:

Volunteer work is not eligible for internship credit. However, some of these organizations need
people to work at a more professional level on projects that might make for a true internship and the
possibility to enroll for credit. Such positions would be evaluated on a case-by-case basis before being
approved for PS 491.
