------------------Announcements – Mike Thone:
 Reminded people to make use of the IC&A website calendar for updated info on meeting times/locations, etc.
 Discussed briefly the (2) free training opportunities emailed to the membership.
 Reminded everyone to complete the roundtable survey emailed week of July 25. To be completed by Aug 19.
 Discussed the agendas for the remaining meetings scheduled for 2011. Thone to send out updated MS Outlook
invites.
 Thone to send out meeting invites/schedule for the first half of 2012.
An “open forum” was held with the following topics discussed:
 Discussion on limited availability to query the SWIFT system transactions, etc for audit/review purposes
 Discussed SWIFT security role conflict matrix and needed updates. IC&A to revisit the matrix in fall/winter to
provide updates once more is known about how the system operates
 Discussed MMB’s statewide policy and procedure revision project
Jamie Majerus (DNR) presented her agency’s government shut-down audit testing/review plan. This prompted an excellent
discussion about what all auditors can do to review transactions that took place during the shut-down and business
resumption processes. Jamie’s presentation materials are available upon request.
