Health Systems Data Mart Integration; Hired as a Consultant and working with Information Services as a combination Project Manager and Data Analyst I provided a project plan for integrating their internal data mart to an external vendor system, with the eventual goal of enabling Business Intelligence to drive contract negotiations and supply global management with reports on industry trends and historical performance. I analyzed their existing databases to map out where data was retrieved from their current external intelligence vendor and how it was implemented. Genzyme / Esoterix Genetix / (acquired by LabCorp), Westborough, MA Jan 2010 – Nov 2011 A global biotechnical company dedicated to the treatment of serious diseases and providing broad ranging diagnostic services. GeDi Enterprise Wide Integrations; Hired as a Consultant and operating in the Integration Architecture group, my Project Management and Data Analyst duties include ORACLE Fusion and applications, webMethods and BizTalk based integration of major systems and applications that comprise the architecture of LabCorp. Currently overseeing activities for integration development of the soon to be released Patient Portal web enabled suite of applications, a project which will potentially touch a customer base of over 200 million. This project coordinates activities across all facets of the business from the Master Data Management system to the Microsoft SharePoint Portal, through specialty labs, billing systems, appointment management systems, document storage structures and more. The Patient Portal Project which relied on SharePoint consisted of 18 interfaces which I acted as Project Manager for. This major web facing deployment relied heavily on web services and queues and delivered applications and integrations from the business units to other business units, clients, patients, and multiple vendors. Integrations with external APIs were also a major portion of the project. During this project I was simultaneously coordinating activities and overseeing development of the EDI result data transport to Aetna.
