-C- The minutes of the March 21, 2015 stated meeting of the Presbytery were read by
Teaching Elder David Mason and Ruling Elder Charlene Woods (Peekskill). They
recommend approval.
FOR INFORMATION
 The Annual Clerks of Session Day will be on Sunday, May 17, 2015 beginning 2:00 pm
at the Stony Point Center. Session records for 2014 will be examined at that
gathering. All congregations must send their Clerk of Session or an appointed
replacement to this meeting along with the congregation’s minutes book.
 The Administrative Commission elected 13 January 2015 by the Presbytery of Hudson
River met on Sunday, 18 January 2015 at 3:00 pm at the South Presbyterian Church
in Greenburgh, Dobbs Ferry, NY to carry out the ordination of Dorothy Muller. The
Moderator opened the meeting with prayer. In attendance were the members of the
Administrative Commission: Moderator the Rev. Tamara Seidel, Ruling Elder Anne
Day (Dobbs Ferry), the Rev. Allyn M. Dunn, Ruling Elder Nancy Gernert (Bedford), the
Rev. Joseph H. Gilmore, Ruling Elder Lisa Niven (Irvington), and the Rev. Rachel J.
Thompson. The Commission reviewed the order of worship and proceeded to carry
out the ordination of the Rev. Dorothy Muller. The meeting of the Commission was
adjourned with the Benediction of the ordination service.
 The Administrative Commission elected 3 February 2015 by the Commission on
Ministry, acting with full authority of the Presbytery of Hudson River met on Sunday,
22 February 2015 at 4:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church, Liberty, NY to carry out
the installation of Ryan Kersting-Schlimgen as pastor. The Moderator opened the
meeting with prayer. In attendance were the members of the Administrative
Commission: Moderator Rev. Tamara Seidel, Ruling Elder Pamela Allen (Roscoe),
the Rev. Jeffrey Farley, the Rev. David Kingsley, the Rev. Erin Moore, Ruling Elder
Ardith Willi (Liberty) and Ruling Elder Anne Wood (Jeffersonville). The Commission
reviewed the order of worship approved at the 3 February 2015 meeting of the
Commission on Ministry and proceeded to carry out the installation of the Rev. Ryan
Kersting-Schlimgen as pastor. The meeting of the Commission was adjourned with the
Benediction of the installation service.

15 March 2015 at 4:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church, Yorktown, NY to carry out
the installation of Charles Low and Tamara Seidel as co-pastors. The Moderator-elect
opened the meeting with prayer. In attendance were the members of the
Administrative Commission: Moderator-Elect, Ruling Elder Leslie Mardenborough
(White Plains), the Rev. Susan R. Andrews, the Rev. Laurie Ferguson, Ruling Elder
Bruce Johnson (Yorktown) and The Rev. John Miller. The Commission reviewed the
order of worship approved at the 3 February 2015 meeting of the Commission on
Ministry and proceeded to carry out the installation of the Rev. Charles Low and the
Rev. Tamara Seidel as co-pastors. The meeting of the Commission was adjourned
with the Benediction of the installation service.
 The Administrative Commission elected 7 March 2015 by the Presbytery of Hudson
River’s Commission on Ministry met on Sunday, 3 May 2015 at 4:00 pm at the First
Presbyterian Church in Denton, New Hampton, NY to carry out the ordination of Judith
Anderson. The Moderator opened the meeting with prayer. In attendance were the
members of the Administrative Commission: Moderator the Rev. Tamara Seidel, The
Rev. Jeff Farley, Ruling Elder Gaye Hartwig (Port Jervis), the Rev. Peter Johnson, and
Ruling Elder Dawn McKelvey (Florida). The Administrative Commission reviewed the
order of worship and proceeded to carry out the ordination of the Rev. Judith
Anderson. The meeting of the Commission was adjourned with the Benediction of the
ordination service.
 At the request of the Session of the First Presbyterian Church of Ossining, an
Administrative Commission has been set up to explore the future of the church and its
property, including options for adaptive change, with the Session and congregation of
the First Presbyterian Church of Ossining. The members of this Administrative
Commission are TE Jack Cabaness, chairing; RE Barbara Brill (Ossining); RE Victor
Corona (Pleasantville); TE Sarah Henkel; and TE Jack Lohr. The Administrative
Commission is authorized to assume original jurisdiction if and when it determines it to
be necessary and appropriate.
 I am in receipt of a letter that follows from the New Hempstead Presbyterian Church
around denominational special offerings, especially the recent One Great Hour of
Sharing controversy. I urge you to read it.
