Identification of the test basis
<The documentation is described in the test plan. It is possible that at the time of writing the test plan not all the documentation was available or known. The documentation may have been changed as well. Discrepancies in respect of the test plan or supplements can be described in this paragraph. After making clear which documentation will be used, the documentation has to be collected. Changes and discrepancies can be detected, which should be described here. See TMap Next 6.5.1>

Testability review of the documentation
<The documentation will be reviewed on testability. A checklist has to be drawn up depending on the selected test design techniques, documentation and quality characteristics. Examples of checklists are downloadable from http://eng.tmap.net/Home/TMap/Downloads/index.jsp
. These checklists form the guideline in assessing the test basis. See TMap Next 6.5.2. Describe in this paragraph the way the test basis has been assessed. What is paid attention to and what evaluation techniques and / or checklists are used? One can state how thorough the intake has been. The documentation will judge per document and the defects related to the test basis will administered. See TMap Next 6.5.3.>

<The final conclusion is based on the data sampled in the ‘testability review reports’ and the related defects. It provides insight into the quality of the test basis and the impact on the consequences for the planned test process.
