Padre Island Financial Statement: Linda Miller Income: 13,145.95 Expenditures: 17,601.06 Cash: 70,323.53 Assets: 70,550.29 President’s Report and Executive Committee Action: Express SC has partnered with the Boy & Girls Club. – Express is going to provide training and camps to the Boys and Girls club membership, including staff, and assistance on field maintenance. In exchange, Express will have usage of their fields. First Vice President’s Report: Doyle Andersen Please notify your coaches, volunteers & trainers that without a Kid Safe Pass they will not be allowed on the team sideline during Distract or State Fall Championship Games.- Doyle will check into a D clinic for February Second Vice President’s Report: Trina Daniel Next Thanksgiving Tournament meeting is Nov. 16th at CC Sports & More at 7:00 pm Please send a representative from each club. Get your applications in now folks! Deadline is Nov. 15th Toys for Tots campaign will be held with each person donating a toy receiving an entry for door prizes. Clubs please donate items for door prizes. Bring door prizes to Bill Witt on Friday, Nov. 24 th during field prep detail. All Clubs need to submit a list of volunteers (with name, phone #’s & email) to help field marshal at the Turkey Tournament and Western Dist. Playoffs. Please email your lists to Me ASAP (tldsoccer@yahoo.com) (copy Mary) Clubs need to sign up for Field Prep day for Thanksgiving Tournament on Friday, Nov. 24 th, starting @ 8:30 am . Third Vice President Report: Cyndie Garcia Winning teams need to be sure ALL game cards are turned into CBYSA by this weekend. Without game cards we can not verify the scores, or yellow/red cards issued. MANDATORY MEETING FOR ALL COACHES GOING TO PLAYOFFS. Coaches meeting is ____________ at 7:30 pm at Holiday Inn Emerald Beach. –There will be no coaches meeting this year. Presidents will verify contact information and get to Cyndie. Cyndie will sign penalty point reports and either fax or get with Mary for pick up. Registrar: Gail Turner Tournament player id cards need to be requested through the Club Registrar. Please get your requests in ASAP. – Deadline to order ID cards for Thanksgiving tournament will be this weekend since Gail will be leaving town on Wednesday. Unfinished Business: DII team playing under Express SC –The Executive Committee interprets the CBYSA Constitution and ByLaws as allowing Express to play DII. The Executive Committee does not have the authority to allow or deny Express Soccer Club to field Div. II teams under the CBYSA Constitution. Gulf Coast motions that Express follow CBYSA Constitution that no DII teams can be under the Express SC Umbrella. Treasurer offers a friendly amendment to the motion “The BOD interprets the constitution as not allowing Express Soccer Club to field Division II teams” which was accepted by Gulf Coast. Padre seconds. Motion passes. (Call Vote: Padre-6; GC-4; GP-3 = 13 in favor of the motion GW-1; Express-1; 1stVP-1; 3rdVP-1; Treasurer-1; Registrar-1; President-against passage of the motion; with 2nd VP and TC abstaining) Gulf Coast motions to allow Express Division II team to finish the 2006/07 season without effecting standings and registered teams under ESC. GP seconds. Motion passes. New Business: Clubs with registration problems Gulf Coast motions to waive GP’s fines Padre seconds – motion passes. Gulf Coast is found in no violation. Padre is found in no violation. San Pat’s registration discussion is tabled since they were not present. Tri-City player moved to right age group. No fine was imposed. Reminder: New CBYSA Fees for 2005/2006 (Approved 8-9-05) DI / SII / DII (all ages) - $24 per player DIII Rec. (U11 & older) - $22 per player D IV Rec. (U7 thru U10) - $16 per player D IV Rec.
