All new students entering the University of Georgia must complete required record forms. These forms can be obtained at http://www.uhs.uga.edu/appts_forms/open_comm.html. Registration for classes will not be permitted until the required forms are received by the University Health Center. ____ Get UGA My ID Once student number and identification have been obtained, go online to MyID to create username and email (https://myid.uga.edu/). This is needed for all computerbased correspondences and OASIS (course registration) activities. All official UGA announcements and correspondence will take place through this account. It is the student’s responsibility to monitor their account and it is recommended that it be checked at least once a week. For help, see Enterprise Information Technology Services (EITS) Help Desk. A UGA Card allows you to access any facility or service that requires you to identify yourself as a UGA student, such as computer labs, libraries and ticket purchases. Please note that students must be accepted and registered to be eligible for a UGA Card. ____ Before the first class: ____ Purchase a headset for your computer (approx. $30) ____ Courses are offered through eLearning Commons (eLC), the centrally supported online learning management system at the University of Georgia. It requires just a few settings on your computer.
