INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDENTS (XI & XII)
Application forms duly filled up should be submitted in the office on or before the last date of
receiving application along with the following documents.
1. Xerox Copy of School Leaving Certificate (Original to be given on admission). Students of Central
Railway School need not submit School Leaving Certificate.
2. Xerox copy of Mark Sheet of 10th Standard. (Original to be given on admission).
3. Two recent passport size photographs.
4. Forms to be signed and stamped by the Controlling Officer in case parent of the candidate is a
Railway Employee.
5. Cost of Application/Prospectus Rupees 100, has to be paid at the time of submitting the Application
Form if downloaded from School Website.

CENTRAL RAILWAY SCHOOL KALYAN IN A NUTSHELL
Central Railway School Kalyan was established as a primary school in the year 1918 by
the G.I.P. Railways is now on the threshold of its Centenary celebrations. The School has
been upgraded in a phased manner and the first batch of students went to S.S.C. Board of
Maharashtra State in 1975. The first batch of H.S.C. Board appeared in 1985 with Commerce
Stream. The Arts Faculty was added in 1997 and Science Stream in year 2005.
This Senior Secondary School caters to the educational needs of wards of railway men
from K- 12 has strength of 1300 students and is affiliated to CBSE New Delhi. The school has
a proven track record of excellence in curricular and co-curricular achievements.
A pioneer in Computer Education the school has reached the zenith of glory in year
2005 when it bagged both State and National First Prizes for excellence in Computer Literacy
from honourable President of India with medals and cash award of Nine Lakh Rupees. This
