T: shows written form of ‘It`s me’ text. Then Ps
try to read out the sentences in their book and fill
in facts about themselves (pencil)
(5) T: Introduce your number: Ask ps. For their
number. All ps can tell their telephone number,
go around in class and tell it to their friends5a: Filling in one`s number n the text book
(6) T. teach finger names by showing fingers and
using hand puppets; Use rhyme:Hey big thumb,
hey big thumb, where are you? Here I am, here I
ma, how do you do? Do this with all others as
well. Ps repeat.
6a: T: Now let’s use some colour paint and print
our thumb, little finger in the boxes in the book.
(7) T. reads out ‘It’s me text about herself/ Then
ps try to read out their text.
(T. collects books to correct mistakes)
