Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol
Please choose one of the following topics to write a descriptive paragraph about. Make sure you are following the appropriate
criteria for a formal paragraph and that you follow the writing process appropriately.
Please submit the following with your good copy, in the following order:

*2nd - all rough drafts and planning pages showing the writing process and revisions and editing
*3rd - rubric
1) Describe the character development of Scrooge throughout the novel, relating it to how he develops his virtues (conscience,
empathy, and hope).
2) Compare the novel A Christmas Carol with one of the movies watched in class, describing what you thought was done well
in relation to the novel, and what you thought the movie was missing that was important in the novel.
