Projects :
1- GIF Crafting Automation Tool
This was a Stretch assignment, started with purpose to reduce manual work and increase the efficiency of team. Technologies used were Perl ActiveState-5.14.2 and MYSQL .GIF Crafting tool
is a PERL script, which solves the problem of manually crafting the GIF files provided by various
LOB’s billing system. It takes the input (e.g EAID ,corresponding EAID ,field no and new value of
field) from user and update header, trailer and other records as per requirement, then creates a new
file having this updated data and updated file name
2- XML
automation Tool
Another stretch assignment to create a reusable asset for team using technologies PHP 5.3.8 .
XML Parsing Tool is web application, which automates the XML validation done
during various test execution .It parses XML documents and matches the values of some particular
tags from the provided datasheet containing tags and their corresponding values with respect to different test cases.
3- BRS Single View
Amdoc's Single View BRS Solution initiative is to deliver a centralized workspace solution at the
call centre level. It integrates different LOB's under one desktop application. I worked as Test
specialist for areas Payment Refund, Overpayment Refund and Refund History. Designed test scena
rios , written HLTCs went on walkthroughs with BA and executed test cases manually and handled
defect cycles also.
4- NGR-ITR
NGR is the Amdocs Enabler rating platform for the Bell Internet customers. The project scope was
ability to support new offerings for Bell Internet Retail customers with introduction of new basic
offers and Insurance VAS offers, changes to existing NGR offers and handling rules for usage query
presentations and email notifications.
Handled this project from beginning to end starting from test plan designing, writing HLTC-LLTC,
handling various teams calls and BA walkthrough , execution. It was a big success.
5- E-Bill Phase 1(Release 23)
Scope of this project was to manage email confirmations to the customers, based on the eBill Communicator (EBC) engine currently used by the OneBill platform to send out monthly email notifications and change in charges of paper bill. Written LLTC and performed execution.
