Moscow Open Figure Skating Competitions “Memorial of the First Soviet World Champion Sergey Volkov” Figure Skating Federation of Moscow Moscow, Russia November 06-09, 2008 Moscow Open Figure Skating Competitions “Memorial of the First Soviet World Champion Sergey Volkov” Moscow Open Figure Skating Competitions organized by the Figure Skating Federation of Moscow is to be held in Moscow, Russia on November 06-09, 2008. All invited Members can entry two Men and two Ladies in each age group. The entries should reach the Figure Skating Federation of Moscow not later then October 20, 2008. The participants should arrive to Moscow on November 05, 2008 and leave the town on November 09, 2008. The competitions are held for the representatives of two age groups: I born in 1998 and later II born in 1996-1997 Technical regulations: Competitions will consist of Short and Free programs in accordance with the ISU Regulations for Juniors. The elements of Short program: Axel Paulsen or Double Axel Paulsen; Any Jump immediately preceded by connecting steps and/or other comparable Free Skating movements; Jump combination of any two jumps; Flying Camel Spin Sit Spin with only one change of foot (for Boys); Layback Spin or Sideways learning Spin (for Girls) Spin combination with only one change of foot and with of all three basic positions (Sit, Camel, Upright or any variation thereof); Spiral Sequence and Step Sequence (for Girls(; two different Step Sequences (for Boys). Expenses. All expenses of meals and lodging at the expense of Competitors. Liability. According to the ISU General Regulations, Rule 119, Organizer accept no liability for injures or personal damage sustained by competitors or Officials. Each Member is expected to provide its own insurance protection. The Organizer provides medical service to Competitors and Officials. Hotel. All Competitors and Coaches will be accommodated in the hotel “Moskvich” near to the Sport Palace Sport Palace “Moskvich”.
