I have got a passion for the game of chess in both playing and teaching. I am a FIDE rated
chess player (FIDE id: 25055704) with a standard rating of 1127. I am also a certified chess
coach.
I have been with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) since 2002. Currently I am working as a
faculty of leadership skills, project management skills and soft skills. Earlier I as performing
the role of a project manager wherein I had to interact with multiple stakeholders and handle
teams with multiple skill sets.
Having Project Management Professional (PMP) certified, I feel that I shall be a very good
fit for the Project Manager requirement at Remote Chess Academy.
Vision
To excel in the field of chess and also to enable the same to as many people as possible.
Involvement in Chess
Overview
I have been involved in chess right from my school days. I have been involved in conducting
and attending tournaments, attending chess trainer workshops, etc.
I run my own chess school, “All is Well School of Chess” (http://www.alliswellschool.in) at
Chennai. India. I am performing the role of a chief coach here.
I have got a premium membership at chess.com and is very active in it. My current rating for

I also have a very good connect with the entire Chess community across the globe.
Chess Tournaments Conducted
Since school days I have been conducting several chess tournaments at school and college
level.
In TCS I have conducted four tournaments in various centers where I had been working at.
This also includes training center, where we have students joining fresh from Engineering
Colleges. There is also a tournament planned across Chennai TCS (35,000+ associates).
Activities Performed as a Chess Coach
I have played the role of a chess coach at Emmanuel Chess Center, Alwarpet for a few
months. I have attended level 1, level 2 and level 3 “Train the trainer” programs for chess
coaches at Emmanuel Chess Center. This was conducted by Ebenezer Joseph, India’s first
FIDE Trainer.
As part of chess coaching activities, I have identified and implemented several training
methodologies and tools for improving the game. I have also got a huge collection of
books on chess openings, tactics, end games and several other key aspects of the game.
There is a plan to conduct chess tournaments at our apartment community and similar
communities in the neighborhood. I have also come up with curriculum and a detailed
development plan for improving Chess skills.

Roles Played (Project Manager, Training Content Developer, Trainer)
At TCS training center, I was as a tech lead for fresh associates. Apart from that I also
performed the role of a lead, where I help and direct all the tech leads who conduct sessions
for the associates. As a project manager and trainer, the major activities that I have
performed includes:
> Business and requirement analysis,
> Management of various stake holders including onsite-offshore co-ordination,
> Team building, Billing management, Internal audits and reviews for other projects,
> Delivery management of projects of various sizes,
> Conducting soft skill sessions for first time managers,
> Preparation of course content, curriculum and training videos
Travel to the United States of America
I have had the opportunity to work with six different customers based out of different
locations. I have been to USA twice as part of project assignments. I have handled project
teams from various domains with associates from varied culture.
Other Interests
Soft Skill Faculty: Apart from chess, I have been actively involved in conducting soft skill
sessions on various topics which include Project Management Concepts, Leadership skills,
Communication skills, Presentation skills, Team work skills, Negotiation skills, Grooming for
first time managers, Email and telephone etiquette, Logical and lateral thinking, etc.
Book Talks: I have also presented book talks on various self improvement books such as
“The.Secret”, “The Power”, “As you think” etc.
Project Management Faculty: After getting Project Management Professional (PMP) certified,
I have also conducted sessions on PMP training, SDLC and Project Leader’s training. Have
also shared tips and tricks on MS word, excel and power point in training sessions.
Puzzles: I have got a flair solving logical, analytical and critical thinking puzzles.
Healing: I am a certified healer, and can do healing based on acu touch principles.
Activities during school and college days: In school I participated in teacher’s day events,
maths and biology week, interschool quiz, interschool chess tournaments, etc.
I have given GRE and TOEFL exams during college days.
