In AUEB undergraduate studies are of an official 4year duration (240 ECTS credits). Incoming
students having completed a 3-year 1st cycle
degree programme are accepted at the AUEB 4th
year of studies taking advanced level courses in
English. AUEB 2nd cycle degree programmes are
mostly taught in Greek and they accept students
holding 1st cycle degrees with 240 ECTS credits.
Three of the Master programmes are offered in
English. Interested students in these 3 Masters
having the above mentioned prerequisites can
send an e-mail for more details to Mrs Katerina
Galanaki at Galanaki@aueb.gr

mailed to the Erasmus+ Office by our partners and
NOT by the students individually.

Linguistic requirements:
Minimum requirement for outgoing
students:
30 ECTS credits per semester in order to be
accepted as Erasmus students.
- European Card of Health Insurance must be
shown upon registration.
Evidence of English Language Competence equal
(or higher) to Level B2 of the Common European
Framework of Reference for Languages, as
attested by the relevant certificates.
Evidence of English Language Competence can
also be provided with an official certificate issued
by the home institution.
All outgoing students should take a study program
of 30 ECTS credits per semester. They must
submit with their application an official proof of
knowledge of the language taught at the host
institution.

Buddy Network:
The Erasmus+ Student Network of AUEB
provides Erasmus+ students with a ‘Buddy’, an
AUEB student who acts as his/her personal
mentor. The Buddy Network also organizes a large
number of social activities for Erasmus+ students,
like cultural visits, trips, meetings, etc.
Housing: approx. € 300 per month
Cost of Living:
Meals: Three meals per day offered at the price of
2 Euro in total to all Erasmus+ incoming students
at the University Student Restaurant.
Personal expenses: app. € 80 – 140 per month
Utilities (telephone, mail, etc.): app. € 15 – 25 per
month
Entertainment: app. € 40 – 110 per month
