Recruitment Agencies Agencies may be engaged if the skills required are specialist in nature, there is a large number of the same role type to be filled or to provide extended geographic reach. Engagement with recruitment agencies can only be initiated by the relevant board committee. All agencies engaged must have executed an engagement agreement with NPF Microfinance Bank Plc in accordance with extant Labour Law. Agency usage will require business justification, including, risks/impacts to the business operations if an agency is not approved and insight into what alternative sourcing strategies are available outside of engaging an agency. Internal Candidates NPF Microfinance Bank Plc encourages the filling of vacant positions by moving employees internally provided they have the skills, knowledge, experience and qualifications to perform the role. CLERICAL 1. National Diploma certificate in relevant Field 2. Industrial Training /Working experience in relevant field 3. Not more than 25 years old. FRESHERS – Assistant Officer 1. First degree (B.sc/HND minimum of 2nd class lower/ Lower credit) in relevant fields from a recognised university (NUC) or Polytechnic (NBTE). 2. 2nd degree /professional qualification will be added advantage 3. Not more than 30 years old 4. NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES- Officer 1. First degree (B.sc/HND minimum of 2nd class lower/ Lower credit) in relevant fields from a recognised university (NUC) or Polytechnic (NBTE). 2. Second degree and/or professional qualification 3. Cognate experience minimum of 3years 4. Not more than 35 years old 5. NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate ASSISTANT MANAGER & ABOVE 1. First degree (B.sc/HND minimum of 2nd class lower/ Lower credit) in relevant fields from a recognised university (NUC) or Polytechnic (NBTE). 2. Second degree and /or professional qualification 3. Minimum of 5years cognate experience 4. Must be a certified practitioner (MCB) 5. Not more than 35years old Procedures Aptitude Test interviewing candidates using the KSC’s of the position description and NPF Microfinance Bank Plc‘s values using psychometric tests as necessary conducting reference checks on the successful candidate completing background checks if appropriate for the position 3 Prior to any offer being made to a candidate the Management Staff Committee must confirm that all terms of employment including remuneration are within the scope of the position that has been advertised. Roles and Responsibilities The relevant Board committee is responsible and may delegate its responsibilities to the management staff committee: liaising with and supporting the Head, Administration during the recruitment and selection process managing the process managing all candidate communications including advice and feedback to unsuccessful candidates The Head, Administration is responsible for: working with the Management Staff /Board during the recruitment and selection process to ensure there is a clear understanding of the skills, experience, knowledge and qualifications required for the position ensuring the position is allocated in the workforce plan, has a position description, has been evaluated and sized from a selecting the successful candidates in conjunction not relevant Board committee. providing feedback to and debriefing the Management Staff Committee at the completion of the process.
