Materials:
 Presentation stage : white board, marker, mp3, speaker, flashcards.
 Practice stage : worksheet n1 of grammar point (x6)
Worksheet n2 of board game (x3), dice (x3)
 Production stage : worksheet n3 (x3)
Aims:
 To speak about their experience using present perfect form.
 To practice the present perfect form and develop fluency through the
activities in practice and production stage.
 To get students creating sentences using the present perfect during free
activity.
 To learn the grammar point so that they can use it communicatively.
Language Skill:
 Speaking : eliciting, conversation, answering the CCQs.
 Listening : teacher’s explanation of grammar point and instructions,
pop song related to the topic.
 Writing : answering worksheet.
Language Systems:
 Phonology : I have -> I’ve -> eye’ve
 Grammar : present perfect simple of experience.
 Function : Asking and answering about experience of their lives.
Assumptions:
 Students already know simple past form.
 Visual aids will make the class more interesting.
 It is easy for students to learn and memorize the structure of present perfect
form by drilling.
 Students are more interested in speaking their own experiences in class than
teachers’ explanation.
 6 international students.
Anticipated Errors and Solutions:
 Students might get confused what to do before they start activities.
- Ask CCQs to make sure they understand.
 Students might have a problem with expressing themselves in group work.
- Monitor students during activities and teach them who has difficulties.
