Planning and Designing
 Accomplishing design review of hospital plan with Architect in project planning phase and liaising with companies for technical specification and drawings. Successfully completed the same for Zydus Hospitals (169 Beds), Anand and Zydus
Hospitals (550 Beds), Ahmedabad put together more than 1000000 Sqft.
 Responsible for defining design parameters for HVAC, MEP, Medical Gases, and coordinating with external consultants and finalizing scope of requirements in coordination with various end-users. Successfully completed the same for two hospitals owned by Zydus group which includes 26 Operating rooms, 700 beds.
 Performing internal detailing of critical areas like Radiology, OT, ICU, CSSD, OPD and Patient Rooms, including room & engineering services planning as well as electrical and air-conditioning, medical equipment & space planning & all technical and room wise requirements. Successfully completed the same for Zydus group Hospitals which includes High end CT scans (256 slice CT Dual energy), 3T 32 channel MR, 16 bit Cardiac and Neuro interventional labs, DR, 21 modular OR, 162 ICU beds and well planned CSSD scattered around 5000sqft.
 Involved in medical technology solutions , tele radiology, LIS, RIS and PACS.
 Optimized planning of Medical Equipments as per institutional positioning in the market, market demand and financial feasibility. Already completed two hospitals planning in two different cities with different proposition mix.
Negotiation & Purchase
 Looking after the preparation of price estimation, room listing, BOQ, consolidate list, item specification and preinstallation requirements of Zydus healthcare projects.
 Accountable for inviting quotations, doing technical comparison and techno-commercial negotiation for bio-medical equipment, hospital furniture, PACS and ambulance. Already handled the purchase of medical equipments which values more than 150 Cr in last five years. Biggest single order ever handled were 32Cr order which includes High end radiology set up.
Project Execution
 Responsible for the Project Management (Pre-Installation, Installation, Commissioning and handing over) of medical equipments and coordinating with other trades for biomedical related issues. Already executed a project with 400 equipment volume and another project with a volume of 2000 equipments worth 120 Cr.
 Directing & managing a team of Bio-medical Engineers in projects and achieved execution in record time at Zydus projects.
 Liaising with all vendors for the successful installation of biomedical equipment and achieving pre-requisites for the equipment before its installation in Zydus hospital group.
 Being instrumental on monitoring and executing project related activities as per schedule. Zydus hospital Anand was completed before deadline and got appreciation letter from management.
 Heading Biomedical and medical equipment procurement in Group level.
 Originating the action plan for the technical part of the project and executing it as per plan.
 Coordinating with Project and Architects Team for deliveries of services as planned per project.
 Ensuring approval of layout diagrams, route diagrams, etc. prior to the project execution & preparing project schedule and executing it as per plan.
 Sustaining effective professional relationship with fellow workers, nursing and medical staff as well as maintaining the hospital according to ISO, JCI and NABH standards.
 Responsible for the maintaining the uptime of all equipments to their higher level and uninterrupted working performance by planning and scheduling preventive maintenance programme.
