The meeting was called to order by Kevin Ward and a quorum check was done. There was quorum for
this meeting. The Code of Ethics and Antitrust statements were also reviewed.
A motion was made to approve the June 2011 NMC meeting minutes. This motion was seconded and
the June 2011 NMC meeting minutes were approved.

3.0 NMC Chairpersons’ Report
Kevin Ward presented the NMC Chairperson’s Report, highlighting the newly validated NMC
Committee Structure, as well as 2011 accomplishments and 2012 focus. For more details please
see the attached presentation.

Committee Reports

Metrics
Bob Bodemuller reported that the Metrics Committee has adopted the same goals for 2011.
The Committee has proposed a revision to their charter, which will be balloted following the
October 2011 Nadcap Meeting. For more details please see the attached presentation.

Standardization
Heather Meyer reported the Standardization Committee reviewed the status of the Auditor
Consistency and Failure/Risk Mitigation Sub-Teams, as well as the completion of the Merit
Sub-Team. Richard Blyth was named as the new Lead for the Auditor Consistency SubTeam.

Kevin Ward reported there are no ethics or appeals to report.

Oversight
Frank Mariot reported on the status of the 2011 Oversight Audit, as well as the plan for the
2012 Oversight Audit, the team Lead for which will be Heather Meyer. For more details,

The next meeting will be held February 20-24, 2012, in San Diego, California, USA at the Sheraton San
Diego Hotel & Marina.
