Bonnevie-Science Scholarship

The Bonnevie- Science Scholarship was established by a bequest from the
estate of the late H.J. and Signe Bonnevie of Tucson. Mr. Bonnevie was
originally from Denver, Colorado and founded the Good Life Chemical
Company, a manufacturer of agricultural products in Effingnham, Illinois.
Value:
$1,000 ($500 per semester Fall/Spring of Freshman Year)

Criteria:
National Merit Scholar Finalists that have indicated U of A as their first
choice that are enrolled in a College of Science degree program for
academic year 2012-2013
Eligibility:
Undergraduate students who are majoring in a College of Science
discipline.
Process:
Selection of recipients is on a competitive basis. The Dean with the
counsel of the College of Science Scholarship Committee names
recipients. Applications and all attachments will be forwarded to the
Scholarship Committee for review.
Notification:
All applicants will be notified of outcome by late October.
Due Date:
Wed., October 10th, 2012 by 5:00 pm, deliver the original and 3 copies of
the application form and attachments to:
