I am seeking a role as Chief Stewardess or Chef on a yacht
I have been performing the dual roles of Chef and Chief Stewardess for 8 years on motor and sailing yachts. I
recently acquired the PYA Head of Interior <500GT CoC. I have 10 years’ experience in the hospitality
industry from running a 14 room boutique hotel, to working in Club Med and owning my own bar in
Benalmadina Marina, Spain.
I am a self-professed foodie and trained chef. I cook Mediterranean, American, Modern British, French,
Italian, Greek, Middle Eastern inspired, Thai, Malay, Indonesian, Singaporean and Korean.
I am well experienced with dietary requirements and food allergies. I love experimenting with fusion, having
spent 2.5 years in Asia, learning from locals. I serve my food plated or family style. I like healthy tasty food
but do not turn my nose up for good fish and chips once in a while.
Prior to being in yachting, I worked for France Telecom for 9 years, starting in the customer service
wholesale division, ending up creating two departments for the regional VP, dealing with high profile
corporate clients. I have created interior household management manuals on every yacht I worked on. I
have extensive refit and yard experience. Having worked on yachts in North Africa, Europe, Caribbean, USA,
Bahamas and Asia, I learned to be very resourceful. I am a hands-on manager. Attention to detail is my
middle name and I have a “can do”, no nonsense attitude with a good dose of humour.
